Dave's Online Guitar Lessons

Here you can read about my approach to praticing and playing guitar, check out the excercises that I've used to develop my technique, and learn a few licks from some of the songs I've played on over the years.

Who Am I?

Just another guitarist on the internet! Some people know me from my work with the bands Titanium & Xistance, or from my Master Of Disguise solo album.

Career highlights include;
Release of Titanium's "Lost Soul" CD in 1998
Release of Titanium's "Oceans" enhanced CD in 1999
Opened Metalfest 1999 with Titanium, supporting Eyefear, Dungeon, Vanishing Point and others.
Release of Xistance's "Heart Of Midlothian" album in 2003.
Release of "Master Of Disguise" solo album in 2006.
Opened Melbourne Shredfest 2 in 2007.
Release of Xistance "Lament Of The Terraist" album in 2008.
Release of Titanium "T:X" double album in 2009.

Why should you take lessons from me, rather than from one of the million other (more famous, faster, better) guitarists with online lessons?

You should probably have a good surf around and check out as many lessons as you can find. I'm sure all of these guys have plenty to offer! But, as someone who didn't really start out with a lot of natural ability and who had to work very hard for any progress he made on the guitar, this is the stuff that helped me reach some of my potential and become a reasonably good rock guitarist. If it worked for me, I'm sure it will work for you too.
